About MRX Africa

A conference run by maintenance and reliability practitioners, for the people who keep Africa's plants available, safe and productive.

Why it exists

Most maintenance thinking is developed somewhere else and applied awkwardly to African plants. MRX Africa exists so engineers here can learn from each other: what failed, what worked, and what it cost.

Since the first edition in 2016 the conference has run nine times, bringing together more than 1,000 delegates from over 70 companies across oil and gas, power, manufacturing and mining.

2027: two events, one venue

The 10th edition runs alongside The Maintenance Summit 2027. Both take place at the Obi Wali International Conference Centre in Port Harcourt from 26 to 28 April 2027.
