Everything international delegates need to enter Nigeria for MRX Africa 2026 — visa requirements, invitation letters, yellow fever certificates, and travel health advice.
Request Invitation Letter →Nigerian visa processing can take 2–6 weeks depending on your country of application. We recommend beginning your visa process no later than 8 weeks before the conference (i.e. by 23 September 2026). TMI Africa issues official invitation letters within 3 working days of receiving your request — register first, then contact us for your letter.
Complete your delegate registration via Selar and retain your payment confirmation. This is your proof of conference attendance needed for the visa application.
Email programs@tmiafrica.org with your full name, passport number, nationality, and date of birth. We issue official conference invitation letters on TMI Africa / ASMRA headed paper within 3 working days.
Take your invitation letter, registration confirmation, and passport to your nearest Nigerian embassy or consulate. Citizens of eligible countries may apply online via the NIS Visa-on-Arrival portal before departure.
Carry originals of: your passport (6+ months validity), Nigerian visa, yellow fever certificate, conference invitation letter, and hotel booking confirmation. Keep digital copies separately.
Nigeria offers visa-on-arrival to citizens of 46 African Union member states and selected other countries. If your country is on this list, you can apply online via the NIS portal before departure and collect your visa stamp on arrival at Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
⚠️ Visa policies change. Always verify current requirements at immigration.gov.ng before applying. Citizens of non-AU countries (UK, US, EU, India, etc.) require standard visa — apply at your nearest Nigerian embassy.
Registered delegates can request an official conference invitation letter on TMI Africa / ASMRA letterhead — accepted by Nigerian embassies worldwide as proof of purpose of visit. Issued within 3 working days.
Include: Full name as on passport · Passport number · Nationality · Date of birth · Job title & organisation
We recommend registering your visit with your home country's embassy or consulate in Lagos or Abuja before or upon arrival — especially if visiting Nigeria for the first time. Most embassies have emergency consular lines for citizens in difficulty.
